The ABC's of Choosing a Good Husband: How to Find and Marry a Great Guy
Published in Paperback by Family Life Center International (01 June, 2001)
Author: Stephen Wood

Wish I had this book 28 years ago...
If young men and women would read and heed this book we would probably have less divorce. I know that if I had read this book before I got married we would have had less "bumps" in the road during those first few years. This book helps you ask the pertinent questions to see where you may have the problems and correct them before you get married. I recommend it highly for anyone who is even thinking about the dating game. It's a great alternative. The younger the reader the better!Pre-teens would be my suggested audience. Moms and Dads - you will be glad that you purchased this book early and save yourself and your kids a lot of heartache.

An Activity-Based Approach to Early Intervention
Published in Paperback by Paul H Brookes Pub Co (April, 1999)
Authors: Diane Bricker, Juliann J. Woods Cripe, and Julian J. Cripe
Average review score:

Intervention for kids -- finally!
If you are in early intervention and are not already familiar with ABI (Activity Based Intervention), this book is absolutely necessary for you and your program. A mom and an interventionist, I have seen the best and worst of intervention approaches -- the approach laid out here is logical, complete, and responds to potential problems. Any program can be adapted to include activity based intervention, and anyone entering the field should be familiar with these pretexts. I highly recommend this book.

Wonderful!
My kids love this book! We have to read it everyday at nap time. I think it is a wonderful parable about how as long as we have God with us we don't need anything else. It has been good stepping stone for futher converstions with my 4 and 3 year old.

The memories of several Adirondack Woodsmen and their stories and songs are fantastic. Straight from the early 1900's and taken shortly before most of these men passed on.

Adventures in Wood Finishing
Published in Hardcover by Taunton Press (June, 1981)
Authors: George Frank and R. Bruce Hoadley
Average review score:

Enjoyable read about the life & times of a master craftsman
This has been the most enjoyable woodworking book I have ever read. Mr. Frank's story makes fascinating reading, his knowledge of wood finishing is still amazing after eighteen years of "progress" since the publication of this book.

I don't know why Taunton has allowed it to fall out of print, but they need to bring it back.

Ages of the Kingdom of God

A Review from the Author!
This is one of my favorite efforts. If you want to obtain a new perspective on the end-time which is respectful of the full and final authority of the Bible, then I urge you to obtain this book. We are sure that you will find it both interesting and challenging. Although we are indebted to the many great Christian expositors throughout the ages who, by God's grace, have shed much light upon this subject, we have long observed that each of the most commonly held eschatological constructs falls short in some way when held up to the light of all Scripture. This work is merely an attempt to draw us a little closer in our quest to understand, as fully as we can, the nature of coming events. May God richly bless you in your continuing study.
Rev. Dr. Steve Woods

Ain't God Good!
Published in Hardcover by W Publishing Group (October, 1975)
Authors: J. Clower and Gerry Wood
Average review score:

Handbook for Southern, God-fearing Gentlemen
This book should be required reading for every Christian man. It's refreshing to read a book that so vividly depicts the life of a man that truly epitamizes the term Southern Gentleman. Through Jerry's experiences you will learn how he lived his life by Loving God, his wife, children and fellow man. There is never mention of his dislike for anyone or any situation he encountered. This book is timeless considering the simple principles that Jerry lived by that would be true even today. The stories are written in a manner that seems to suck you in as if you are there living them out with him. It's hard to believe that this book was written some 25 years ago. I believe Jerry is truly one entertainer that will be missed for many, many years.
